History

Dolphin Homes was formed in 1988 and commenced trading as a residential care home business for the elderly called Elizabeth Lodge in Alverstoke, Hampshire.

In 2003, the decision was taken to expand and diversify into the Learning Disability field and Myrtle Cottage was opened in February 2004.  2 further homes, Orchard Lodge and Caroline House were opened in 2005, the latter being our first home to cater for both Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities and Complex Health Needs.

In late 2005, the decision was taken to sell Elizabeth Lodge and concentrate solely on care of clients with a Learning Disability and or Physical Disabilities.

Dolphin Homes now operates 12 homes across Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey all of which are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
