Caroline House

Caroline House opened in Horndean, Hampshire in August 2005 and provides specialist care for nine adults with learning and/or physical disabilities, between the ages of 18 and 65 years.

The main house provides accommodation for 7 clients and a new bungalow was built in the grounds for an additional 2 people which opened in March 2012.  This new unit provides residential care but in a setting more similar to supported living so that our service users can further develop their independent living skills.

Our aim is to provide service users with a relaxed and comfortable environment, where they are encouraged to become active and valued participants within both their home setting and local community.

The main house at Caroline House has been specifically adapted to accommodate wheelchair users, including the installation of a purpose built lift.  All bedrooms are for single occupancy and have en suite facilities, including 4 with en suite wet room facilities and another with an en-suite bathroom.  Caroline House encourage service users to personalise their home to their own taste.

Caroline House, as with all of Dolphin Homes’ LD/PD units provides long term care and prospective service users are given the opportunity of a trial visit before making a decision.

All of Dolphin Homes’ services are CQC Registered and if you would like to see what CQC have to say about Caroline House, please see below.
