Brendon Lodge

Brendon Lodge opened in Havant, Hampshire in April 2006 providing specialist care for nine individuals with learning and physical disabilities, between the ages of 18 and 65 years.

Our aim is to provide service users with a relaxed and comfortable environment, where they are encouraged to become active and valued participants within both their home setting and local community.

The main home provides accommodation for six service users and has been specifically adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. A purpose built lift has been installed and all rooms have ensuite “wet room” facilities. The bathroom also has a ceiling mounted hoist and mobile hoists are also available to maximise comfort for service users. There is a separate 3 bedroom bungalow in the grounds of Brendon Lodge that provides residential care for more independent clients.

Brendon Lodge, as part of Dolphin Homes’ philosophy, will encourage service users to personalise their home to their own taste and our maintenance team will provide any necessary expertise.

Brendon Lodge, as with all of Dolphin Homes’ LD/PD units will provide long term care and prospective service users will be given the opportunity of a trial visit before making a decision.

All of Dolphin Homes’ services are CQC Registered and if you would like to see what CQC have to say about Brendon Lodge, please see below.

Brendon Lodge Outreach Unit

The annexe at Brendon Lodge is a specialist outreach unit that has been constructed in the grounds of Brendon Lodge in Havant, Hampshire.

This specialist unit opened in October 2006 and provides residential supported living for three adults between the ages of 18 and 65.

The aim of this annexe is to provide service users with a home of their own and enable them to become active and valued participants within the local community. We seek to build independent living skills to enable our service users to, in time, move towards a supported living environment.
