About Us

Our History

Dolphin Homes is a provider of care services to people with learning and/or physical difficulties and specialising in the care for people with complex health needs.  We operate from 13 separate locations, all of which are registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Our sister company Dolphin Care also operates a Nursing facility for people with an Acquired Brain Injury.

We are a family business and view all of the people we support and our staff as part of the “Dolphin family”.

All of our services receive external management assistance from our Head Office in Havant, Hampshire where our HR, Finance and Operations functions are based.

We were founded in 1988 with the aim of providing high quality accommodation, care, assistance and support for people within the South East of England and started out with a residential care home for the elderly.  In 2004 Dolphin Homes extended its range of services when it opened Myrtle Cottage, in Emsworth, its first home for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

Since then the company has built an excellent reputation with local Social Services and others from further afield for the quality of care provided.

Our Future

Dolphin Homes will be expanding our service provision by opening new Supported Living services in Hampshire and West Sussex.  We will also be looking at further residential care homes in Hampshire and further afield.
